ok so i gotta get new tires for these rims i got http://www.summitracing.com/checkout/cart.aspx i need the actual tire size for a 35 ??? i have no idea what pmetic/emetric/LTmetric or non of that Bs is help??

PS the sooner you guys help me with this the sooner i can get them mounted and show you pics :deal:

You mean like 35x12.5x17?? My GF has some for her Ramcharger.

metric tire sizes are in millimeters, 25.4 millimeters in an inch

A typical 35x12.50" tire will use a 10" wide wheel. Don't use a 12" wheel with a 12.5" tire it looks stupid.

I think 18x9 or 18x10 is as big as you want to go for a 12.5" wide tire right? I'm still debating myself if I want 9 or 10" wide rims.

Either one is fine. When you put a 12" wheel (or wider) on a 12.5 tire it looks dumb and you risk popping the bead off road.

True tire hight at 28psi is 33.25",brand new tire,zero miles. (on KJ @ 6000lbs)

Tire: BFG MT KM2's, 35x12.5x17
Wheel: 17x8 ProComp 7098's
At 33psi, actual height mounted with the weight of the Jeep is 33.75"

Tire: Cooper Discoverer STT Tek3, 35x12.50x17 (Advertised 34.7x12.7)
Wheel: Stock Moabs 17x7.5"
At 30psi, 34" even (about 4K miles on the tires and rotated once)

Tire: Goodyear Duratrac 315/75R-16
Wheel: 16x8 Procomp Xtreme Alloy 7089
Actual height: 34.2" (advertised 35")

Tire: Goodyear MT/R Kevlar 35x12.50-17
Wheel: Raceline RT-233 beadlock, 17x9.5 (actual measurment closer to 10")
Tire height, mounted at 26psi - 34.25"

At 35PSI -- 34.25"

Actual height at 30 psi is 34.5" measured at the center of tire with a level. Probably makes a difference if measured at edge of tread.
