I'm upgrading to 285's on my 4dr and purchasing the rims/tires together.

This is primarily a highway vehicle with really mild offroading. My goal is to make this truck look tougher, but I also don't want an aggressive MT tire.

What are you guys riding with and like?

i like my Procomp Xtreme MT's. hoe turned into a dd almost immediately after the lift and all went on it. 3 years later still have the same set and about 50% tread left on them. not real loud either.

I've had these for the last 3+ years, have about 54,000 miles on them. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?pc=44530&counter=1&ar=75&rd=16&sw=false&cs=285

Got these last fall, wife needed tires on her truck more than I did, so they went on hers. Just got a set of Wrangler HP's for hers, now these Kumhos are going on mine: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?pc=33614&counter=2&ar=75&rd=16&sw=false&cs=285

As far as wheels - I got a set of MB Blitz's with the Yoko's 3 years ago, $903 shipped to my door, mounted and balanced, Road Hazard and Mileage warranties, including 24 splined lug nuts and a Gorilla lug key. Here's what fits my '96 Tahoe, should fit all others too http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/searchWheelsByVehicleAndSize.do?bp=&yr=1996&wd=16&rw=&vid=013978

I've looked EVERYWHERE online for the last year plus, haven't been able to find anyone to beat their prices. Sears had a sale on the Kumhos when I bought them, DTD matched Sears' online pricing, and included free shipping.

I also like the procomps. I have used the AT and extreme AT. I like the extreme AT better, has a decent tread pattern also. I do not like the BFJ AT even a little. Sport King at was also a bad move years ago

Same LT285/70/17 Nitto's as what you posted, but for $917.44, vs the $1019.14 at DiscountedWheelWarehouse (pricing including shipping to MY address)...

I spent the equivalent of DAYS searching every possible site I could find when I ordered tires, DTD was the best deal, by far. I recommend getting the certificates for replacement (under $20 each), as I used all four of mine - I punctured TWO tires (Yokohama Geolander HT, 60,000 mile warranty) while driving on a gravel road, DTD replaced them for free, even though they had 39,000 miles on them. While making arrangements for the replacements, I remarked to the sales rep that I was down to 4-and-5/32's on the other two, and they were a 60K tire - the rep said he'd pro-rate them for 45K, gave me 1/4th of the original purchase price as credit towards new tires. I used the credit and the warranty to get (4) Kumho Mojave AT 285/75/16's shipped to my door for $303.

How can you beat that? Sears currently sells that size for $221 each!
