tinting orange reflector in yukon headlights

I've been working toward a blacked out look on my yukon xl, and was wondering if anyone has tried opening up the headlights and tinting the orange reflector on the side. would make for a subtle modded look IMO

It has been done, but the oem housings are much harder to bake open – most people buy aftermarket factory reproduction lights to mod
