There are many available options for you, and folks will have their favorites. Just make sure that you deal with a supplier who will work with you to resolve any potential fit issues, as some exist. This would include a hassle-free return/swap of LEDs, in the event that a specific LED does not fit your specific truck.

I replaced all of my lights, inside and out, with LEDs from JDM Astar, and I'm very pleased with them. They all made a great difference, especially the headlights and fog lights. Just get the OEM incandescent light GMC part number for your specific truck, and the folks at JDM Astar can set you up with what you need.

Thanks much do you recall the cost for all of it? By part number you mean the number for my headlight assembly/housing?

the problem on the yukons is these are bi-xenon with the stock housing, hid's are nice but you cant get a true bi-xenon hid bulb they are either hybrid hid/halogen or hid with a magnet that moves the bulb in/out to adjust the light pattern, led technology is still changing they now make a 4 sided cob led bulb but most of them likely require some body modification to make them fit because they require a big heat sink on the back. I've been running a single beam hid in the stock housing for a while and use led fogs and together it works out ok

Have you done the retrofit? What does it involve?

Other vehicles yes. You bake the headlight apart, install the projectors and whatever else you choose (halos, demon eyes, etc) put back on the vehicle, make sure theyre level and adjusted properly, take back out, heat up in the oven and reseal back together.

No, I mean the part number stamped on each incandescent light bulb on your truck. The part number on the light bulb identifies the specific base or electrical connector of the light bulb and corresponding light bulb electrical socket on the truck. First and foremost, the correct replacement LED must have a base that matches the corresponding electrical socket on the truck. Once the correct base has been established, there are often choices in which specific LED you choose to purchase (lumen output, color, etc.)

Please note that I am not connected in any way with JDM Astar, other than being a customer who likes their products.

For my 2007 Yukon XL Denali, these were the OEM incandescent light bulb numbers, and the corresponding JDM Astar LEDs that I selected as replacements. This was a result of my own initial research, using the incandescent bulb part numbers, in conjunction with some Googling and subsequent discussions with JDM Astar folks. We did not get it perfect the first time as a few of the incandescent light bulbs did not have readable part numbers on them, and we had some fit issues, but JDM Astar worked with me, swapping out the incorrect LEDs for the correct ones, at no extra charge.
