Thecopcar got a pair of new AGM batteries today. Lola got the hand me down pair since I’m not as worried about being stranded close to civilization.
thecopcar also has a much higher power load, especially if I add a fridge soon.

While the weather was nice, at 70 today, I went ahead and installed some ditch light brackets on thecopcar. It only took a year to find some for this generation of truck.

Actually it goes to a spray bar I mounted in front of the transmission cooler. Driving through the Rockies last year with my teardrop, I was not liking some transmission temps going up long steep grades. In the neighborhood of 200.
Since I have a fresh water tank on board, I used a trick I learned from my grandpa. In my case a burst of spray for about 20 seconds gets enough water on the cooler to drop the temp 10-15 degrees.

I took this picture to show the dog restraint net between the seats. The hound is 100 pounds. At the bottom, the top side of a Frontrunner footwell water tank is visible. The hose on the right is routed to a pump serving the spray bar up front. The hose on the left let’s me get drinking water when camping off grid.

On thecopcar, the large bundle of auxiliary signal wiring through the firewall was removed when she was decommissioned. I didn’t realize that until I got Lola. She still has all of it.
I used the grommet, about 7/8”, to route some ham radio power, and the path fir the stray bar water line.

Today was the day for thecopcar. A new shift lever with tow/haul button.
