GM may still have some surprises up its sleeves, however -- some reports have suggested a diesel option could be offered along with a hybrid model, though the GMT900 hybrids haven't set any sales records.

Skip the hybrid crap! No one wants to have to mess with TWO types of fuel-related repairs.

Come out with a reasonably priced compressed natural gas vehicle, GM. No gas tank, please!

Are you in denial or something?
There is more evidence of it being a Tahoe than Expedition. The only thing that makes it looks like an Expedition is the mule camo'd grille.
It is definitely not a Ford! They camouflaged it like that on purpose to deceive people (and it's working lol).
The only way it could be an Expedition is if Ford decided to hijack key GM NNBS features to design their new SUV. I highly doubt they did that.
