Well here it is. I pick it up on Thursday. This is the new family whip. Needs the mudflaps, window vents, bug deflector, trim and badges taken off. It has 106K miles, runs well. All leather with third row seat. It is a longer version of my 2 dr. Here are a few pictures from the dealer. And no, I did not pay that for it, $6K was the final price.

On to the pictures

Sure does look clean! Congrats!

They are very nice for long haul road trips. Me and five of my buddies went out to Montana from Michigan and back straight both ways in my dad's 99 2500. The trip was 3800 miles round trip and roughly 35 hours one way. It fit all 6 of us and all of our gear (6 backpacks full, 3 tents, fishing gear etc) pretty nice. We did have one of those hitch baskets though. He has since sold it and bought an 08 Silverado, which he now wants to sell and get a Silvy with the 6.2L. All in all, good vehicle choice!

Congrats! Very clean...what happened with the OBS Escalade?

I see you going the opposite with your truck! Can't have lil ol lady and kiddies climb up on this thing!

VERY VERY CLEAN! But really, what you plan doing to it? Atleast gotta throw in a K&N!

Thanks guys! No huge plans yet. Like I said just debage and so on. I think it might have a crap muffler on it now, it has a K&N drop in. TYC headlights. And just the fact it is so clean with only 106,000 miles on it is even better. I can swap parts bewtween the two trucks also.

I plan an exhaust...cat back. A tune and maybe some bigger tires. This thing looks so short compared to the red one. I can't wait to sit them next to each other and grab some pictures. I think the ride height will stay stock for a while...maybe a little crank.

I am so spolied by my truck's drivetrain too. This one has plenty of power but I forgot how much a difference the 383 made in mine. Oh well, maybe this needs a 383.

I need a billet grill for the front too. Stock interior that is soooo clean I was shocked. The truck appears to be very maintaned. I am the third owner. The paint has blems but doesn't appear to have any new painted areas so I assume it's never been bent. Clean car fax.

I will get more pics when she comes home and gets the treatment.

I was looking at 2003 burbans for 12K so they have come back up a little bit. I love the OBS trucks and now I can swap parts between them. It is just so clean we saw it and wrote a check. I needed a new project also. Sucks that it is winter time and I hate working on the truck when it is below freezing.

Well we brought her home tonight. Rides pretty well, has a little shake / vibration about 70mph though. Going to get the tires balanced, rotated, and get the alingment checked on Saturday.

Love the truck though.

Pulled the bug sheild off, mud flaps off, front lisence plate holder off. This weekend I am going to pull the pin stripe off, the emblems and then wax it real good. I also just noticed it has TYC headlights already.

Just ordered the entire Husky liner set for the truck and new billet grill too. I want to pull the trim of but not when it is 20* outside. May wait till spring for that. Where is a good place to get the 3M earaser wheels?

I will try and get some pictures of the two trucks next to each other, I forgot how low mine used to be....
