The new Tahoe's first tailgate.

Football season is finally back and the new ride went out for her first tailgate yesterday. Now I need to find some matching wheels for the trailer and bring the whole package together as one.

That looks GREAT! Do you mind posting more pics of the Tahoe from different angles please? What size wheels are those?

Thanks! They are 24's. The tires are 295/35R24. I don't have a lot of different angles at the moment but if you tell me what view you would like to see I'll snap a few pics tomorrow and post them up for you. I plan to either lower the back to level or just go with a 2/4 drop to bring the stance even further down.

Any pics you can post would be great! Maybe a walk around with a little of everything if you don't mind. Any rubbing or fit issues? Do they stick out at all? What finish are those?

I'm having a hard time deciding on wheels for ours but those look really nice!

Here are a few more pics for you. No rubbing at all on the 295/35's. The finish on the wheels is black powder coat on the center and machined finish on the face. The wheels sit pretty much flush with the fenders and don't stick out at all. You can also see the level that i trimmed down the front valance. If there's any other view you'd like to see let me know. Keep us updated and show us the progress of yours.

Thanks! The lowering springs at the very least will be added in the coming weeks to level the rear out.

In the mean time, get yourself a proper 8" drop hitch, which is the right height for this vehicle. Honestly, you could probably get away with a 10" drop because of the way they put the receiver so high.

Sorry, missed the picture of your hitch. What is the drop on it? I was looking at the intial picture where it looks like your trailer is too high in the tongue, but it may be some weird terrain thing you have going on.

It's a 5-1/2 drop on the hitch. It's just the angle of the picture and the slight incline that the trailer was on at the time. Once I drop the back down this weekend it will sit level. I couldn't believe how high the hitch was when I put my 2" drop hitch from my old truck on it. I went straight to the store and bought a new setup

Yeah, my Sierra was a 2" drop, as well. The problem with the large drop is that the capacity lowers. The truck is rated for 8K+, but the hitch is limited to 5K on the 8" drop. I'm currently shopping for a higher capacity drop hitch.

Yep they sure are up high for stock. I thought it was crazy that the 8" drop hitch I use with my lifted Jeep works perfect for the wifes stock Yukon hahaha.
