any obd2 will work. autozone. harbor freight. sears. bb autocal has a built in code reader

Think it might be time to invest in a code reader. I'm looking to add another car to the stable. My oldest just got his drivers license and I found a loaded (leather and roof) 01 Impala for a good deal. It has a 175k but looks and runs like it was well taken care of in addition to being a 1 owner vehicle.

And it's back...Was driving today in the snow, playing a bit in the snow at the reservation here. Stopped for gas on the way back home, put in 89 octane, usually 87. About a mile after leaving the station SES came. Got it read and it's the same code again. Gonna just have to limit my driving for a month or two until I get some extra bread. On a good note 4x4 is working fine!:rocking:
