Temp Gauge not reading

Thanks everyone for the input, this is a great forum. I drove it yesterday for about 10 minutes and it's running correctly now. Might have just needed to get the engine temp higher.

Hopefully this is the end of my issues with my Tahoe, but I doubt it. I'm sure I'll be back here again.

I had similar issue however my temp gets to 210 and stops.
You are talking about a code reader only. I am talking about a scanner like Foxwell NT301 that will allow you to SEE what is happening and yes, it will pull codes too.

So is this a good reader?
