Swapping bench for Captains

Is it possible to remove the 2016 xl power 60/40 bench we have and install two captain’s without drilling new holes? And do the captain’s seats fit differently than the bench? Are they the same depth and width? Do they recline? We are trying to get our very tall family to fit and not buy a different vehicle.

Can't say in your case exactly but in general GM built the cars to accept either seat package. Things like Heated seats common in the captain set up might not be pre wired.

I am looking to go the other way in our 08 Yukon, I want to remove the Captain set up and install the factory bench seat set up. We have grandkids and I need the extra seat to be able to haul them.
