Swapping 6l80 Transmission

My 6L80 went on on my 2009 Tahoe. I found a low mileage 6L80 out of a 2009 Escalade. My question is since they are in the same year, do I have to get it reprogrammed?

I believe that you will have to get the TCM programmed back to it's base tune.
It learns driving habits, and sensor inputs
Any decent trans shop would do this for a minimal amount. The TCM controls
everything so it's not something you ever want to call "good enough"
