I think Hennessy has a contract with GM to allow tuning for factory based tuning. Kinda like Shelby for Ford. I know a few ppl who go to the Chevy store and walk out with fully warrantied Tahoes and Suburbans (aka more $$ than brains). It’s either they have an agreement with them or they use a standalone engine controller that they warranty the trucks. If you have a 2021 or newer vehicle, it will be more difficult as GM uses Global B electrical architecture, and I don't know if anyone has tuning capabilities yet. Hennessy does supercharged 6.2's but I am not sure how they tune them. There might be someone else besides them but not many unfortunately.
The global B stuff has been unlocked for a couple years now. It costs a lot more than previous systems, but can be done easily. If you have a 2021 or newer vehicle, it will be more difficult as GM uses Global B electrical architecture, and I don't know if anyone has tuning capabilities yet. I have a Whipple on my L83 but that is the K2XX platform (last gen). If you have a 2021+ that is T1XX platform.Anyone out there running a supercharger on the 5.3 L motor?
