I'm running a beltec spindle 2/4 drop. No problems over the 5 years or so using this kit.

2" springs up front & 2-4" springs in rear, is about all you can do now.
then sway bars

i am waiting on belltech to release new spindles. (they were rumored to be released last year, still waiting. last i heard was maybe sometime this quarter)

reach out to tony (norcal ss)

I bought Tony's kit and am waiting to install it on my 16' Yukon 4x4 with air ride.

Anyone near St. Louis want to do the drop kit for me?

I'm also near STL and would be interested in a good installer! I'm well equipped knowledge and equipment wise to do it myself but time restrictions keep me from just doing it...but I'm 'jonsin' to get this dropped a bit!

You sound like me.. I've had this kit for almost 2 months, but don't have time to do it myself. I've been quoted $600 for labor and i'm not that desperate to do it...lol

Ya I'll eventually just bite the bullet and make time to do it myself! I've lowered half a dozen GM trucks in my days...most with full rear flip kits and frame notching etc...but now w 4 kids and a job where I travel a large percentage of my work weeks....when I have a free weekend I usually plan a golf outing or the wife has a 'list' a mile long!! Lol

He tried to get away without doing free travel mod. You cant. He ended up cutting bracket off like I told him and now rides much better

So you don't need to cut the strut bump stop if you do the free travel mod?

he put the bumpstops on htining he would be fine by cutting them. He then realized it didnt ride well so cut the bracket off the frame and was fine after

I am in MO but down at The Fort. I used the craft shop on base which is basically an 8 bay shop you can rent for an hourly amount. I don't have air ride, but did the 2" rear drop myself in an hour and a half with no directions. Good luck, if you have a basic
Mechanical knowledge you can do it.

The one he cut in half was for the front, what does this have to do with the free travel mod, which is the rear?

you have to cut bumpstops on front struts due to changing shock stroke when using the lowering mounts
