Who here has added a OBS suburban diesel bumper to their ride??

I'd love to see photos and understand, what if any, fabrication was required.

I'm kind of in love with the idea of having more lights and the diesel bumper with the two lights is very exciting.

Also, if anyone has modified their stock bumper...how did you do it?? Simple as finding lights and cutting out holes? I'd like to see those photos too if you have 'em.

Thanks!!

I did it! Love that bumper. I bought mine from LMC. Install was simple and straightforward. I have yet to buy or install the lights. LMC also sells the lights, but I have not gotten that far. Hopefully in the next two weeks I will have the lights and get them installed. Also, my lower valance had some cracks in it. I am going to fix that up (or buy a new one) but I for some strange reason like the way it looks without it!

...I think these are the same bumper as the Diesel's.

Nice movie!

I just checked their site and found all their bumpers...great find. Do you have link to the lights for that bumper? (couldn't find when searching)

I'm also in NJ, any chance you are going to the BB tune in June??

I'm in Monmouth County...if you ever have a free moment and wouldn't mind showing me your rig, I'm serioulsy contemplating the conversion. With the bumper around $200 and lights @ $100+ I'm hoping to see an example in person before jumping into it.

sparg,
I was not aware there was a BB tune in Jersey coming up. I might have to check that out. I got my BBT back in Feb so I am solid there. I also ordered the lights from LMC so I will post more pics when it's complete.

sokr915,
Nice!
What size tires/rims are you running. The stance is nice. Is there any lift involved?

perfect, thank you.

THe more photos, the better!!

I've been thinking about this mod and how it would look under my black grill guard...guessing by the spacing, i think the lights would tuck in perfectly.

So I got the order from LMC...the light are totally wrong. Sizing is off and no mount brackets. Instead I decided to build some brackets for some 55w lights I had in my shop. We will see how it goes, but I am still on the hunt for the OEM brackets and correct size lights. I did this just to fill the holes for now. Pics when I can get them uploaded from my phone.
