Looking for a stock 6.2 exhaust from the muffler back, with a tip and doesn't matter if it has resonator or not. PM if you have one you'd get rid of cheap!

6.0, my single chamber muffler drones too much. Found a YouTube vid of a 6.2 exhaust with muffler and resonator and it's nice and throaty and not droney, and looks clean. I need to quiet mine down a bit.

Gains of MPG and/or HP are rather overrated. I would do it for the sound.

Yes, my truck is by no means performance I would just like an exhaust that has a nice rumble and sounds good when I wanna get on it. The stock exhaust's flow very well and sound very nice. Do you have a 6.2 exhaust?

Jonah I'm a little confused bud ... isn't a 6.2 exhaust from muffler to tip without a res basically just a 3.5" pipe?

Sorry let me clarify. Another members removed everything behind the cats and installed a y pipe. From the y pipe he mounted a 6.2 muffler with mid pipe leading to the resonator and tip. So I should have categorized it as a cat-back. Does that make more sense?

The 6.2 exhaust has a nice rumble and has a nice sporty sound when you get on it and it looks clean and factory, which is why I want it. My exhaust is too loud and drones bad and I have to drive more highway now and it gets annoying.

I got lucky and I found the whole cat back on eBay and the guy mailed it to me for like $50.

I took it to a shop and they had to use a y-pipe to get it installed. Our stock exhaust is dual inlet. The 6.2 is single inlet. So he just used a y-pipe and angles it down into the muffler. I believe all of the mounting points were the same. The hangers on the 6.2 fit right right in my stock locations.

Mine is already y piped :) what did you search on eBay to find it??? I haven't been able to find any take off oem systems.

I think I searched for Denali Exhaust OEM or Denali Escalade Stock. You can also replace Denali with Escalade since they share exhausts. Tahoe's and Suburbans got that exhaust I think only in the 2009 model year.
