steering stabalizier?

rear shocks are shot. will change out this saturday but i have a question.
ran into this online, something about steering stabalizer kit. wondering is this something worth buying? is it easy to install?
please leave your thoughts!

I think i will install one of this.. for $150 not bad.. why not

my SUV is not lifted at all.. its all stock.. but it fell likes my SUV sway to much than normal.. i did change my shock front and rear and still does have that problem..

After i get my SUV back from the body shop and switch the front tire with SAME SIZE tire. i will try and see if i could install one of this steering stabilizer? maybe it will work with stock

My truck felt like it wandered at highway speeds. I too inquired about a steering stab. Some of our trucks appear to have them from the factory, but mine didn't. I found a kit for $90CDN shipped. I like it. Stopped everything that bugged me. Holds dead center on the hwy. However, I'd like to point out that it doesn't fix bad steering parts. If there is a problem with pitman arm, idler arm, ball joints, tie-rod ends, wheel alignment, etc. Those should be fixed before installed a steering stab.

I did notice that one fella here welded his braket on to ensure a good connection, but mine was bolted on with the supplied bolts. The bolt holes and everything was already in the appropriate spots. My shop didn't have to fab anything, pretty much plug and play.

i had one on my truck when i bought it, i recently just put a new one in. Its a kyb and only one "shock" not 2 like pictured. they work good tho

well im probably just going to go to 4wheelparts local store. ive been looking on there website and prices rande around $130. If im getting robbed lol it usually happens, im not a good sales finder.

Would not hurt to disconnect them occasionally to catch problems early that they might be hiding.

I installed one, $50 bucks for it, then $50 to install it and weld the bracket to the chasis! I love it!

best money I spent. I feel dual shock is overkill on a stock ride height or close to it.

i have a pro-comp one and its 1 schock and its awesome! i took it off when i took my lift kit off so i need to fgure out how to install it now

I ran a rancho on my stock suspension. I can't say if it helped or not. I run one now also.

The rancho was pretty much a bolt on unit.

Bracket welded to the chasis, I only did it b/c thats what you OFF Roading boys do! Rollin on 22's in this rough NY pot ***** hole filled NY does deal it beating on my suspension. I go thru a pitman and idler arm every year!

I just installed a custom dual stabilizer that we fabricated in my brother-in-law's shop, they are worth their weight in gold for reducing bumps and keeping your front end aligned and saving your steering components, especially if ou have large aftermarket wheels....thinking of making more if anyone is interested lmk

Turns out that I had an oil change and lube job done to my truck yesterday. While it was up in the air, I took some more photos of stuff.
