So question been dealing with this for months and no shop can seem to figure it out, so here it is: everytime i go over a speed bump, a pot hole, or anything that makes the rear of yukon go up and down, i get a sqeaking rubbing noise, do any one have this problem, if so do you know how to fix it?

everything is still stock only changes are i have the bilstein 5100 shocks, and i changed the sway bar bushings, other then that everything seems in good order...so looking for help, thanks in advance...

Check with a good frame shop. It could be the body bushings or the leaf spring bushings, or if coils the rubber between the body and the springs.

Sorry im on my phone sigy no worky? I would get a friend to jump on the rear bumper to try to recreate the said noise while you climb under and investigat. When did the noise start? After shocks or sway bar or neither?

Don't know if it would be the same but my wife's 04 drove her crazy w/ the squeaks when going over bumps and what not. Changed her shocks ans no more squeaky squeaky.

Yea shpcks can cause the squeaks and its a greater chance its the shocks than bushings but yea get a fat guy to hop on and lool for the noise source

to funny, thanks for all the help: it started when i had the factory shocks on, but they had 105k on them, after the new shocks the sound was still there, so dont know what it could be, sounds only located in the rear and i dont see any rubbing on the shocks...i will check with a frame shop next week, could be that since she was involved in a accident about 2yrs ago...but again thanks for all the help!!!!

Mine was the driveshaft, it squeaked over every speed hump on my 2002 Suburban. My 2008 Suburban has started doing it now, along with the clunk while sitting still.
