I swear I've read about this before but can't remember now and I'm not getting any hits via search. I installed new upper/lower ISS today and had to take my adjustable gas pedal off to get clearance. Buttoning it back up, I noticed this plug hanging down, which I don't remember unplugging. It has enough length to go near the brake pedal or back over to the box for upfit stuff. I've searched twice for the connector under there and can't find anything.

Thoughts?

No codes other than a service stability, but that's because I disconnected my steering position sensor.

Without a pic, I wonder if you ever had a brake controller installed? The harness plugs to the left of the brake pedal on my 2002 Yukon. Happy Thanksgiving!

Does the pic not show for you? It's from my Google photos. I can rehost somewhere else.

Anywho, I've had the truck since new and not had a brake controller put on.

Thanks though.

I'm not seeing it either.
If you can't get the photo to work can you describe it for us?

This should work for everyone, albeit rather slow. It's on a raspberry pi off my home connection.

Good idea. I'll go see if I can spot one on it.

Edit: I'm a dumbass. Stuck my head under there for the 100th time and found it. This pic is looking up from the floorboard at the steering column.

Still not sure what it does and it looks like some dealer mechanic cut a hole in that plastic when replacing the ISS stuff back in like 2006.

Another note -- that Dorman bearing is crap. Already have a GM one en route and I've only had the Dorman one on for a couple of days.
