[SOLVED] Help finding noise under the engine bay

I need to help finding where this noise is coming from under the engine bay. Only happens when on the rpm’s. New alternator, belts, tensions,. Started happening when I got cold.Video of noise it’s a high pitched chirp.

How about belt idler pulleys? Sounds like you got everything else. You can try some spray lube to confirm, just stay clear of the belts themselves. Replace as needed.

could be a clogged up pcv valve, when clogged the engine sucks air in past the crank seal and makes a sound like that. if you take the oil fill cap off and it stops, thats it for sure. pcv valve should rattle when you shake it.

I haven’t changed the idler pulley but it didn’t make that sound until it started to get cold.

Not that. It happens mostly around 1200-1500 rpm

If the pulley's bearing's going bad, colder weather could easily make the noise start.

While everything's still cold, goose the engine a bit and see if the noise reacts.

-and/or-

If you can safely do so, put a stethoscope on the pulley, and listen. You can use a stick, from the pulley to your ear, instead.

If the noise is under the hood, a sound recording from under the hood would be better.

that was mild when mine would go bad it would sound like a pig got stabbed, you could hear it 2 blocks away
