yea range/land rover and jags are junk cus its a FORD owned company, but I had a BMW and it was one solid car never had problems with it at all.. only European car i would trust everyday

That's not the real problem. Ford's design systems and quality programs improved the reliability of Jaguar cars, believe it or not. They were much worse before. At least you don't hear about the brakes catching fire any more.

I hate to say it, but the real problem is that they're British. My family moved from England to the US 27 years ago and none of us would ever buy a British car again. Not even a Rolls. My parents almost always bought British cars right up until we came to the US, and I remember my Dad was always repairing them.

A couple of years ago I was looking for a cheap 4x4 vehicle for winter and I saw a mid-90s Range Rover with about 80,000 miles on Craigslist for $400. I didn't even give it a second look, I just felt bad for the owner.
