well i know this isnt a range rover forum but the guys over there are scary. them dudes like lifting all that shit and make fun of guys wanting to lower them.

my friend has a 03 range rover on some mht 24s and he can lower it at speeds of under 35 and it looks really good but lifts up after that. anyone have any idea how we could keep it lowered :)

I'm sure someone makes a module like the benz'. I have no idea except my boy used to have a range sport supercharged before his escalade and it was a pile of shit. I'd leave it be or call around some rover shops, shouldn't be too difficult to slam.

My buddy had his in the shop constantly, has zero issues with his 07 escalade. Tell him to buy a chevy.

ive done 4 of those trucks. I run the wireless air by airlift and bypass stock air system. You will need to pull the fuse for the stock compressor set up.

airlift 72000 and you get another compressor from them and you can run both from and rear independtly great set up. I have it on both of my trailblazer ss's that bypass the stock airbags set up in the rear

i found some kind of rinspeed computer thing that cost 2200. and i also found some kind of links that tells the air compressor when to raise up but i highly doubt that will work because i had the same things on my escalade and it didnt really seem to matter exactly what length they were.

DAMN, for the price of the Range out the gate you would never think it had that many problems.

I had a 2000 Range Rover back in 99 before I got my Tahoe. That bad boy was nothing short of a migraine. I tossed it after a year and purchased my then new 2001 Tahoe. 200k miles later and I'm still grinning.....original tranny/motor!!!!!!!

I had an '03 range. I spent like 6 months on the waiting list and only drove it for 3. I've never had a car leave me stranded more often than that pos....always in awful neighborhoods too. Oh and they depreciate worse than a yugo, I probably lost 20k in 3 months on that thing.

As a Chevy guy and a Jeeper, I make fun of them on and off the highway(in a somewhat good natured way). I converted a friend of mine from his Discovery into a Cherokee. Couldn't be happier. As he told me: "Nine out of ten Land Rovers are still on the road. The other one made it home." lol.

I only like one year of the Land Rovers. The one year it was basically a rebodied BMW x5 before (be-FORD?) Ford messed around with them and screwed em up again. All BMW electronics and drive train... those were pretty reliable as a result.

Gimme a Tahoe or an X5 anyday.

It was said that it cost Ford as much to buy the engine from BMW for the Range Rover as it did to build an entire Mustang. Mine was from the BMW years but was still a terrible car.
