What are you guys doing about your side molding??? I keep my Tahoe in pretty good shape. The body paint looks as good as you can keep a black truck but my side moldings have faded and are even starting to peel off in the front.

Not unless your ride has been beaten by the sun or has been abused. You will most likely need to clay bar it and give it a good wax and polish job, though :waytogo:

I had a 2007 Denali that I took the molding off this year. I had no problem with fading with the paint. I removed the molding, used a clay bar, then used a good wax and everything turned out great.

There was no difference in the paint on my 04. Just hard to get all of the adhesive off, even with an eraser wheel. Still need to wax and or clay bar... I've just been lazy. :)
