The side molding on my drivers side door is starting to come off and I'd like to reattach it. What adhesive/glue is recommended for molding? Vehicle in question is a black 2012 Z71.

3m is always a good product. Double stick, thin strip.

Put a tape line above the molding so you know where it goes. Clean the old stuff and the molding real well apply the tape to the molding pull off a little tape cover line it a up and as you go pull the rest of the cover off. Same for bottom. Last time I added some to the ends.

Honestly just remove them. Tahoes look great without them. I picked up a 2011 Z71 last week and the previous owner took them off:

They do look good without the moldings, Until some jack hole swings his door in to it.

Yep, definitely be careful where you park and don't always automatically go for the closest parking spot. But even if you had them and some guy swings his door into yours you're still gonna have a nice scratch, it's just that it will be on the molding rather than the panel. My last tahoe still had the moldings and I had about three separate little dents in the passenger door from people opening their doors into it--the moldings didn't stop it.

^^^ This. 3M 03616 should work good, but I'm not sure if it's available in other widths and lengths.
