Thank you for all of the replies. The VIN decoder helps but is not provide the definitive information that I am looking for - specifically if the vehicle has the auto-ride option (Z55) it is hit or miss using the VIN decoder and the description language is very generic.

So what Swathdiver mentioned in the thread seems to be the only way at the moment to confirm this suspension option. I just cannot expense that amount of money when I am checking numerous VIN's. I am hoping there is another online option.

GM does not offer this as a free service anymore. I pay Compnine.com $5 for 5 VIN checks.
