Seat Cover Installtion Tips?

Just purchased a replacement leather seat cover for my truck.

Watched the YT vids, got the seats out, put the new covers on, but for the life of me I can't get the stupid lip to stay put on the front and sides.

I can fold it over no problem, but I can't hear/feel anything click into place, and it just keeps rolling back up.

Anyone have any tips for me?

My lip isn't plastic like OEM, its a hard rubber.

Figured it out. Had to take a razor blade and split the rubber apart so it could straddle and pinch the metal.

Before and after shots. Very happy with it.
