Was perusing almost every internet retailer known to man, looking for tires in the middle of the night when I should have been fast asleep.... and just took a chance, looked up PepBoys.

Searched for 35x12.50x20's, outrageously priced as always. Put in 275/65/20, and lo and behold....

Falken Wildpeak AT's, the first generation, not the AT3W's. 60k warranty, for a 34.1" x 10.8" tire, Load range E.

And... for the paltry sum of.....(drumroll, please....)...... $134.90 each, plus tax. Normally $210, they've been discontinued. I'm getting one of the last sets of 4 Pep Boys has anywhere in the country. Saving $300 plus tax!

Putting them on these 20x8.5 GMC Denali Wheels (not these actual ones, but the style) that I got for an equally paltry sum of $160, with the TPMS sensors. Adding 1 1/2" spacers on the front, 2 1/2" in the rear. Should clear the 3" keys with just doing a mini NorCal mod, shouldn't have to put the 3" body lift I have on (yet) - want to wait until after my surgery to see if I'll be able to step up with a BL.

I almost ****** on myself.

That's awesome...killer price! But, as a caveat, my wife had these on her 04, and they wore insanely fast. I think we got 25k on them before they wouldn't pass inspection anymore. Pep Boys is great with tire warranties though!

I've heard horror stories, and I've heard great stories. One guy in the reviews I read said he got upwards of 70K on his set of 4, some said they were horrible in the snow, some said they were amazing.

For the price, even if I get 40K... I'll be ready to go up to 35 x 12.50's (or maybe 295/65/20's, or 325/60/20's, both 35.6")....

Ain't ever gonna go smaller!!!!
