crawl under it and loosen the bolts, and pull it out enough to keep it from rubbing.

The bumper is easy to get off. so is the grill. Check out LMC, their replacements seem to be a decent price.

well atleast you have an easy truck to work with.. bumpers just some big bolts, grille is a bunch of small 8mms or maybe 7mm

I would be so pissed if someone wrecked my truck... must have been on heck of a sign!
pull the grill, and then the trim piece below it. bumper has 8 bolts, 4 top, 4 bottom. you right two bumper brackets are probably bent as well.
to bad your not closer, i have a stock bumper and brackets off my 96 for sale. bumper is painted silver. also have the lower valance and stock parking lights and headlights.

ok so the sign was destroyed and that damage is actually from the tree a few feet behind the sign lol...
grill is off ..looks to be salvagable...so some good news...

ouch. but i drive a 99 tahoe at work and hit a durango, it has weak brakes, ive realized these bumpers arent that strong... it dented it in and pushed into the grille. Only hit at 5mph if that. but no brakes.

My old lady borrowed my rig because she was visiting family out of town and needed the 4WD. I was amazed how nervous I got and how revealed I was when the truck returned unscathed.

Thank you! It's been done a little at a time, had the grill color matched, lmc parking lights, tyc HIDs, and the bumper. If you need some of the parts I have listed up we can talk prices and shipping, I need the stuff gone! Haha

Other than 4 wheel parts diving it to verify the work on it my dad has driven it once. I don't hand the keys over to anyone anymore.
