I just purchased and installed this intake earlier this week. I can honestly say that this intake is very well made for price and quality. The intake definitely has a nice I take growl between 1500-3000 rpm. It was very loud when I first installed it but got a tad quieter after I drove more miles. I’m guessing it was the computer adjusting to the intake.
No codes popped up or anything else out of the ordinary. Having this intake paired up with a Range DFM module, my 5.3 drives very good and I no longer have to drive in sport or tow/haul mode to make the truck feel more lively.
