Rough Country 3.5 inch lift - thoughts?

whats everyone's thoughts on this lift? its inexpensive and uses the factory shocks.

has anybody looked into this kit? A friend of mine from the gym has it on his suburban and says its a good buy... just wanted to see if anybody on here has input on it...

i'm no gonna change lifts to get a half an inch... but will for another 1.5

Well a guy on here had it with a bodylift I think it was a 3in bodylift but he only had the truck for a couple of months. How long has your friend had his?

The guy who did the 3.5 in with the body lift was 2 wheel drive. I believe and from what I have read you will have issues if you are 4wheel drive.

so the question is... is it worth $800 to lift my truck another 1.5" up front and .5 in the back???

What manufacture is it?

I just noticed your Tahoe is a 2008. I am needing a 2" for on 01 Yukon. I am not sure that would work.

Completely different front suspension. You need keys.

Cool. Post pics especially the CV angle, flex, etc. and a review. Will you be taking this offroad.

There have been a few installations of this kit, but they never provide an update once it is installed...

Geez, if you go through the thread, there are some issues. Sounds related to larger/heavier tires though. Fix was beefier bushings, upper control arms and ball joints.

he installed this kit w/ a leveling kit as well, i think that might of been his issue
