SO, its getting warm this winter, and I may need some AC, lol. Last fall, my AC idler pulley took a dump. Upon my attempt to install a new pulley one bolt snapped, its stuck in the AC compressor bracket. Now way to remove or drill/tap while in the truck. I have a new bracket waiting to go in. Is it possible to remove the compressor mounting bolts, move it slightly to access the mounting bolts behind in while leaving the AC lines hooked up? The AC is ice cold and I want to keep it that way. I have a new receiver-drier in case I have to open the refrigerant system and recharge.
