Hello mechanix, AC compressor on even without AC button pressed??

The “AC” button in the middle of the air speed dial is off, but the Ac compressor is cycling.

Can someone help me out with what I need to do so I can run the air normally without the AC compressor running!!

It’s getting cold out, no sense in having the AC on!

Um, that's weird. Maybe the switch or the AC relay got stuck "ON"?

Remove/swap the relay would be my first step. If that fails, just remove the relay until you start doing more diagnostics with the switch or wiring.

Well, for now, till you inspect what @strutaeng suggested, you can unplug the compressor at the compressor.

I do not have manual controls so I don't know
there is a dehumidifier function but not sure of how or if that works with the manual controls

Mine does the same thing I've noticed. If I run the vent air even with the a/c off, the air comes in cold, even in the summer. However when I do turn the a/c on, the fan starts running. Doesn't really bother me so long as I have cold and heat when needed.
