We're can i find that roof drip molding i looked on line and the part is discontinued i even called.my local dealership to see if they can order it and they also said its discontinued is ther any universal part that will work?
What part # are you using and what is your vehicle? My search at gmpartsgiant comes up with 22743309 for my 08 LTZ. This part is available and will fit any of the short body 07-14 GM SUV’s. they’re all the same black rubber.

Since I have a 2005 XL, and unable to find any, I have considered removing my roof molding, heat it , especially at the problem areas, and see what happens to reinstall it. But I am not loosing sleep over it.
I have both model years of my rigs , NBS and NNBS, parked back to back by chance right now. I just looked at them and they look pretty much identical to me. I can see the ends of them also and those look the same so the profile is the same. The top face is barely different but the same basic design, just a wide middle and a narrow band down both sides. I’d be willing to bet they’re interchangeable and the one for the 07-14 NNBS will fit your NBS. Here’s pics so we can blow them up and maybe see. Looks like I need some glue.

From what I see, I don’t get the advantage of the strip, as it doesn’t seal out any moisture. I suppose it reduces the amount of rain water when parked, then it won’t drip as much when you pull away & stop, causing rain to pour off. The rubber strip seems to hold dirt in the edge & traps dirt against the paint…. not good….

I glanced at some reviews….. Poor….. But maybe the buyer didn’t prep- install it correctly.
I wonder if the 4-door Sierra is long enough. I need a 56” length, and the carbon fiber look version was around 70” ( cut to fit )

It’s a trim piece, just for looks to cover the body seam up. Like most trim pieces, it can trap dirt, yes. It has no sealing effect and is unnecessary but the body seam is unsightly so there’s that.

Most people won’t notice the open seam, if the truck isn’t …. LOWERED …. Uh, yea….. ;)

The weather finally got slightly above freezing so I took my '13 Escalade ESV to the local car wash and did the best half a$$ spray off "wash" I could just to get the nasty winter crud off. I did notice the roof trim piece on the passenger side of my rig is starting to lift up, I would say the last 3"-4" is raised by about 1/4". Nothing too crazy but I anticipate it will start to get worse over time.

Went searching around and the OEM replacement part still does exist and is offered, but it's even more expensive for the LWB SUV's at about $130/ea.

But what really caught my attention was how long the list of part numbers is in the "Replaces" column. There are 114 part numbers listed!

I would like a 4 inch sample piece to confirm the strip actually fits my joint molding shape, in the roof…..
I can imagine, since the GM part is not available, some may be a “version” of the molding.
