Remote start causes Avic x920bt to not start up

I ran into a problem upon install of the Avic x920bt install. Figured out after many times of the radio not working that whenever I use the remote start on my 2007 tahoe that it causes the radio to not turn on when the ignition is on. I have to take the trim and everything off and unclip the Axxess harness from the factory harness and then clip it back in and then everything works fine again until I use the remote start again. As long as I don't use the remote start the stereo works great. Any ideas out there on why this would happen? I want to be able to use the remote start on the tahoe but at this point I am getting tired of having to rip everything apart everytime I use the remote start. Thanks for the help in advance.

Does your ignition turn on for a couple of seconds and then turn the starter when you use the remote start? It could be because the radio begins to boot up and then loses power when the started is turned and this messes with the software on the radio. Mine does something similar when I use my remote start, but it doesn't brick the radio. It loses the settings though.

I am thingking the same thing and its almost like a thefy deterrent mode of sorts. I woiuld make sure you turn the radip off upon exiting the vehicle.

Or it could be that the remote start is installed improperly. If the ignition and accessory wires are backwards it will screw up sometimes.
Or is is the factory remote start?
