i just bought this 2002 Yukon Denali from a Dealership and they gave me 2 Remote Door Lock transmittors..I cant seem to program them to my vehicle..this is the procedure i followed to do so...I also put on Brand New batteries and still cant get them to work...Is this the right way to program the remotes..

For most 02 GMC trucks:

1. get in truck and close doors
2. insert key in ignition
3. press and hold lUNLOCK button on driver's door
4. turn vehicle on and off (as far as you can without starting) twice
5. release lock button on door. Door locks should unlock and lock to indicate programming mode
6. hold lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on remote you want to use. Make sure it is the correct code for the vehicle year.

Repeat 5& 6 for additional remotes

2. Insert the key into the ignition.

3. Hold down the power UNLOCK button on the driver’s door panel-continue to hold

engine).

6. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

7. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

8. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

9. Release the power unlock button on the door panel. The vehicle will lock and unlock
the doors automatically.

10. Hold down the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter simultaneously until
the door locks and unlocks.
This step may take up to 30 seconds.

11. Repeat step 10 NOW for each additional transmitter (including any existing
transmitters).

12. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position in order to exit the transmitter programming
mode.

hmmm, take them to dealer, have them explain why. They should if you have good batteries.

Unless they gave you wrong remotes for the vehicle.
