I can't advise about your engine swap, but I moved this thread from the 2021+ section. Your thread covers two different body styles so I picked this one.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Pics of the truck, please.

Your question deals with the compatibility (or not) between the NBS platform and the NNBS platform. I'm not an expert in this, so I'll leave it to other members of this Forum to answer your question with some authority. My 'guess' is that they are not compatible and would require some work to force compatibility.

(718)-
have a 2005 Yukon Denali.
Which came with a 6.0L, and a 4L60E.
was going to buy a 07 Yukon Denali, that needs a motor and trans.
Will my motor and trans fit in the '07 Yukon Denali without issue?
Physically, yes, duh.
Every GM 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L, and 7.0L is the exact same size externally (well known fact since '99).
6L80E is a lil bit larger than a 4L60E, so switching to a smaller trans should be easy.
PHYSICALLY. In terms of pcm vs ecm / tcm ...
If the '07 Denali came with a 6L80E, good luck making the 4L60E work with a tcm that expects a 6L80E.
I'm sure it's doable, likely involves using a wiring harness from a NON-Denali GMT900 vehicle?

If the '07 Denali came with a 4L60E, congratulations, you lucked out.
