Rear Wiper/Washer

2005 GMC Yukon and the rear tail gate wiper will not work. Washer sprays ok. Before I start messing around and trying to figure out what is broken, i thought i would ask the group where i should start.

What do you think might be wrong with it and where to look?

i pulled the fuses and they are ok.

Start with the wiring that goes into the tailgate from the top. The rubber deteriorates over time and the wires get frayed. If that’s ok take the cover off the inside of the tailgate and check those wires.
