Hi

2025 and my rear view mirror camera is not going up high enough, so you can’t see the wide view of the road behind you.

Is there a way to force it to recalibrate or reset tilt up?

Thank you in advance for your guidance

Do you by chance have a license plate frame around your rear license plate under the camera housing? If so, check to make sure it's not pushing up on the back of the camera housing causing the camera to point slightly downward.

I do and I will pull it off tomorrow… and update

You nailed it - that was it. Frame was touching base of camera box.

Thank you

Wish mine was that easy. I see just the lower half of cars behind me. Zoom out and I see all but distance perspective is way off.

I have a license frame and it’s no where near the camera. My mirror has adjustments which change the zoom AND tilt. Could that be your issue?

Thanks so much. Just picked up our new Tahoe yesterday and this thread solved the problem and saved a lot of hassle.
