Rear Defrost coming on by itself

I've recently noticed the rear defrost on my 03 Kon has started to turn itself on. I just noticed it and am not sure if its coming on all the time or just when I use the remote start. I've had the remote start for a couple years and don't remember this ever happening before. The button light isn't even on.

Any clues?

I recently had remote start installed. There is some module that kicks both my heated seats and rear defrost on when it is 32 degrees or below.

I don't believe I have that module, I've had the remote for a couple years and this has just recently started happening. Not only that but wouldn't the button be orange if the defrost is on?
