I have always referred to my Yukon as a "truck", like (my money is in the "truck"), etc. I have friends who totally disagree with me when I refer to it as that. It is almost insulting to some. I REALLY hate to say "SUV".

I have tried just saying Yukon every time I refer to it... What about you guys? Thoughts, stories, etc...?

Body on frame, I say truck (much like a Crown Vic ;)) I call it a truck, because frankly, it is.

Well the sad thing is the one who throws the biggest fit about it owns 2 Tahoes. So, they shouldn't be that way...

I call mine a truck. It's got a V8, horrible fuel economy, 4wd, torsion bars and leaf springs... that sounds like a truck to me, lol.

my argument always comes down to "what classifies it as a truck, why is my yukon not a truck?
they normally answer because it doesn't have a bed

my response

" A tow TRUCK doesn't have a bed? "

A garbage truck doesn't have a bed. A monster truck doesn't have a bed.

Call it a truck or "the hoe".

Nobody questions me about it. Technically I'd say it qualifies as a truck. It surely isn't a car!
