Having a hell of a time getting this fuel y fitting somewhere, out of the way, short to the rails, not hit the firewall, etc. I am going to just put the large feed hose onto it tight throw it down behind engine and I can get to the fuel rail fittings to tighten with intake in place. Making it up symmetrical it takes up way too much space and has to be high with over 90* bends to get it to the rails
And a couple of poser pics, cause I have to redo all of it anyway but needed some motivation
picture makes it look like its going down hill, which it may be a hair but the right side is actually closer so it makes it look much worse lol, i worry about shit thatll never be scene way too much

whatever works, hood will be closed, just put a "top secret" sticker on it then you never have to open it in front of anyone.

Holy crap am I glad to have this thing mounted. Half of it atleast, going to build the other side to something, maybe forward to the core support. But trying to hold the pipes and line them up to cut, and the turbo is twirling around on the engine hoist. I couldn't run the pipe out any further, while it clears the turbo exhaust housing, it doesn't clear the cnc'd mount

Not quite centered in the opening, buts as close as I could make it abd still be able to make up the pipe from the compressor to throttle body.
And is less than a 1/2" from the core support.. should be able to make shroud to seal the intake from the engine bay for maximum cold air age

and since nothing is ever "completed" going to route the ac lines a little different.
1st - the line from the compressor to the condenser has a pretty nice gouge in it on the rubber hose, just going to replace it because its pretty good, which it had some more length in it but itll do. 2nd - the one from the condenser to the cabin im going to run straight out from the tee and send it back kinda of by the horn on the left side looking at the pic above, if that makes sense.

I think i subconsciously get bummed out if i have to have someone else do crap for me, i lose interest in just paying someone to complete things.
been out there putzing around last couple days/nights and im getting back into it.
getting the turbo mounted - the maven mount has pockets for 1" or 1-1/8" tubing, so i got some 1-1/8dom tubing and sat and stared at it for most of the day. tried to find some tight bends but no luck. i just cut it at 45* flipped it to make the transition. its not that pretty but im happy with how it functions, and holds the 80+lb turbo up pretty stout with just that side, tying the other side in should really lock it in place.
new fuel system says it wants -12an feed and return (3/4!) lines. so ive been trying to figure out a good way to go from the regulator back to the tank and i just didnt have the right bender for that size. the large stuff ill usually bend on a electrical conduit bender but the radii are soo big. so i ordered a cheap bender that should do fine on soft (aluminum) tubing, the flaring tool i have will do up to 3/4 too so i can keep hard tube in the engine bay and just have a flex hose where it jumps from the engine to the frame back to the tank
Holy shit man... this is just more badassery.. I cannot wait to hear and see this thing moving with that massive turbo motivating it...! Awesome work as always...!!!

Sort of an simple mount, after I figured out what I wanted to do it only took a half hour or so to throw it together.

14mm locking nut from something I ordered at one point or another fit about perfectly into the dom tubing, just had to grab a short 14mmx30mm bolt. Can shake the hole truck with it. Managed to line up with 3 layers of metal on the inner fender
It was meant to be.

Coming along....checking to see what kinda aluminum pipe I got around for cold side. I ordered a cast 3.5" elbow to weld onto the turbo compressor outlet, going to cut it back a little and weld on like a 30 or 45* piece to get it going toward throttle body
