Radio head unit issue bose hybrid version

I seem to have a issue with the head unit

I have sound but nothing on the screen (intermittent issue) also the rear dvd does not work when the screen is not on

if the screen does come on it comes on like the car was just started..

I have noticed a wire is not connected under the hood I can take a photo later

poor radio reception could be part of that wire

Have you tried the hidden sub-menu to reset it? I had to do that to get the clock to work on mine after I unhooked the 12V battery to do the hybrid battery replacement. There is a thread or two on her about it. I have a sticky note in the glove compartment on how to find it holler if you need the instructions.
