Quick Question about Oil Changes

I've been getting my oil changed at the dealership. I'm pressed for time and I really need an oil change so I'm going to take it to one of those quick lube places. Will the "% oil remaining" status get automatically updated when I get the oil change or will I have to take it to the dealership to get it reset?

You can change it yourself if they don't know how to do it. You can find out in your manual but it basically means going into the DIC and holding down your check mark for 10sec and that should reset it
