I've been in the market for a new Tahoe for a few weeks now and have settled on two. Both have perks and negatives so I need the collective wisdom of the group to help me decide.

**Both are the same price**

2017 Tahoe Premier 2x4 (117,000 Miles) - Private Seller
-Is super nice and has only had two owners. The most recent owner has had it for 5 years and has kept up on service.
-Only ONE magnetic shock has been replaced.
-Still has the original transmission.
-Zero accidents
-Interior/Exterior is flawless

2020 Tahoe LT 4x4 (125,000 Miles) - Small Town Private Dealer with 85% great reviews and 15% neutral/negative. They have an overall good reputation.
-Has had three owners, and just had a new transmission put in by AAMCO Transmissions.
-Interior leather is flawless, Exterior is close to excellent.
-Has been in one small MVC in the past.
-Standard maintenance records.

I need advice on which one I should go with. I've yet to drive either as they are on opposite sides of the state that I live. So I wanted to get feedback here first before making a game plan. I will also be getting an extended warranty though Endurance or similar.

Thanks!!

Get a rust free GMT800, even if you have to fly to get it, and make sure to see great paperwork/documentation for repairs/maintenance. You will be money ahead.

Have the best seats, by the way.

Either way, it is not uncommon to need to put ~$5000 into these trucks for routine maintenance/repairs at that mileage, no matter how they look, condition-wise. So, add that amount to your purchase price.

IMO, you need to see AND drive BOTH, before making a final decision, as usually the driving experience one will be significantly better than the other when you actually drive and ride in the truck.
