I actually kind of like them......I doubt the projector is any good, but i guess we'll find out if someone on here buys them and see's how they perform.

If I were to get these I would most likely do the retro kit before I installed. I would also be painting the face to match. I would even try and go as far as changing the LED accent to red or amber. They do look pretty sick though, but would really like to see them on the vehicle.

First of all that inner high beam halogen reflector is way too small to be of any use.

Second of all ... I can't even ...

How would you know that the high beam would be bad if you have not seen them in person?

Because physics, geometry, optics, price ...

I can also tell you that the low beam will also look like all kinds of ass for the same reasons.

But what do I know ... you're welcome to spend your money to prove me wrong.

Acrylic accent lights are cool, but I'm with everybody else, the lights won't work very well. A retrofit would take care of the low beams, but I'm sure the highs would be useless.

I would buy something that is known for having good light projection and then have the acrylic accents added. That way, you know you'll be able to see at night (which is the important part) because the housing is built for light projection, instead of being built around nonessential features like the acrylic accent lights.

These guys should be able to take care of it (for a price). I might have them build something for my Denali after I free up some cash tied up in other cars.

Just my opinion here but 9 out of 10 of these clearly aftermarket headlights just dont look good on such clean vehicles like the Tahoe / Yukon. I like the factory look - modified. As in, factory, plus a retro, maybe cleared and painted. But when you get into these oddball shapes and shit, it makes the entire vehicle look cheap. Solely my opinion - retro stockers.

I know serge will immediately shake his head seeing this but I just got them and like them :/ The ebay link has a pic of the cut off. It's not bad like the old aftermarket ones. I plan on eventually getting a philips HID set for it and possibly changing the projector if it isn't too hard. But stock it doesn't look bad. I know some will hate it but it's the first aftermarket headlight I've liked since it has the plasma tube and is squared off it flows with the car. Here's a few pics from my pb...more on my build page.

it's a plasma tube not led and it's not that big honestly I just have it all close up. But I feel ya it's not for everyone thanks for the input.

This pic shows how they're really not big at all relative to the size of the headlight.

x2....how terrible do you think they'll be to mod?

side note.. did you choose a black housing? because the set that OP posted has a chrome housing.

Haha thanks. I will take a cut off pic and post one shortly. And it looks like you'd have to do just as much work as if you were retrofitting from scratch. Also yes mine is the black housing. The chrome looked a little too blingy and aftermarkety for my taste. The black looks wayyy better for some reason.

Looks like a new Colorado front end with those lights. I like it cause they are different than the same old halo aftermarkets you see everywhere.

I almost think if it had a full amber reflector like the factory ones it would look OK. they just look too aftermarket to me. If you like them - keep em!
