Power Window Issue

So had the rear passenger window down last night and the power window motor cable broke on my 02 Hoe. Now the window is "stuck" in the down position. I can manually push it up so that it closes but it won't stay in that position and falls back down when the door is jarred or closed. Don't have time to take it in this week so looking to see if anyone knows how to make the window stay closed. I currently have the door panel off but can't figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated!
