I just ordered the Hawk HWK-HB561Z-710 (front) and HWK-HB568Z-666 (rear) pads.

I have the Hawk Pads and there is a difference in braking. I wouldn't say alot but it sure is better.

im in the process of buying some but didnt have luck with power slot but my guy will be gettin me proslots i beleive.. 325 for all 4 and summit has them at 90 sum a pc.. i will be runnin hawks so ill let u know when i get them, should be next week

Dam dude! The esKONali is a sick lookin ride! That's a great look you have goin there. Very well thought out.
I haven't been on the forum in a while, job change and things got busy for me, but man there are some nice looking rides on here.
Still one of the best forums out there IMHO.
I've been on the machoneregistry getting my car in shape for summer but needed brakes for the wife's Yukon and popped back over here. My handles the same on there as it is on here if you want to look me up there. My other car is an '03 Mach1 Mustang.
Ive been missin out I gotta say.
I'd like to drop the wife Yuk but with the snow up here it doesn't make much sense as she has to drive it every day.
Come spring it's all I can do to convince her to let me put the 24"s back on so she has to slow down for train tracks.

I've used both brands. They are a bit pricey (not ridiculous) in my opinion for what they are but you will not be disappointed with what you get.

I got the whole set, four rotors and four sets of pads at local speed shop for $650 including taxes.
Not too bad considering going with OE would have been $600 just for the front rotors and they would have been junk in short order.

I installed my Powerslot front rotors and Hawk LTS pads on all 4 corners on my Denali a couple weeks ago. Love the extra bite the pads have now. And the resistance to fade when pulling my trailer is significantly improved.
Had these same pads on my old BMW X5 and never had an issue with them, and sold the X5 with close to 40k miles on the pads.
Great brake upgrade, without the expense of the a BBK.

I know...can't believe how much OE rotors cost and they are nothing special...got quoted $950 for front rotors/pads at the dealer the other day..jaw almost hit the floor.
Did all 4 with rotors/pads myself for half that.

High priced OE parts are for those who dont know any better and/or cant install in your own garage.
It's highway robbery, i dont know how they sleep at night. I work at a heavy equipment dealership and it's the same thing here.

I did the fronts with Powerslot rotors and Hawk pads today. Big difference and no noise. happy so far.

We sell both, and have quite a few customers very happy with them. I have run Hawk pads on my personal vehicle, and was very happy with them. Powerslot and SSBCs are great rotors as well.

The wife had some idiot pull out in front of her on the freeway this morning and she said she stood on the brakes and she said she would have hit the guy for sure a week ago. She said she's never stopped that quick in that truck ever.
The brakes just paid for themselves.

That story is both good and bad. Great that the brakes helped save your wife from an incident but bad that they were used that hard right away. I hope you don't have problems with them from that...bedding in is crucial and even if you follow manufacturer recommendations, it's really easy to cook them if you aren't light on them the first 300 miles or so. Heavy erratic stops can ruin a brand new set up. I've learned this the hard way a few times. I screwed up my brakes on their 2nd day once... emergency stop and they were done. Started squealing and pulsating soon after. Had to change the pads out after 2 weeks.
