I don't know if it is bad gas or what? When I romp on the pedal I get a code. It happens more times than none. I have a new in tank pump

thoughts?

Just shooting from the hip with no info, a code under load to me could be pinging/knocking. Could be a sensor going bad and picking up false knock. Could be a million other things. Pinging can definately be caused by bad gas so either way I'd get this checked out immediately.

sounds like a multiple random misfire. But we need codes to tell. It only flashes the MIL as the problem is occurring, you could also use a scan tool.

If you don't fire on all cyl at any time for more than a certain number of revs you will pop a code but your engine light will flash too. Get the actual code numbers, if you have on star and are subscribed you can call them when it comes on(from inside your vehicle) and get them to tell you the code that shows up, then post it.

Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Range/Performance Problem

Basically this means that there is a problem with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit. The PCM detects that the actual MAF sensor frequency signal is not within a predetermined range of the calculated MAF value for more than 4.0 seconds. Other MAF sensor circuit DTC trouble codes are P0100, P0102, P0103, and P0104.

Bought myself one of these:

OBD2 Bluetooth

And a MAF sensor but I"m still getting the code. Now I get loss of power when I romp on it just before the code pops whereas withthe other MAF I had power but the code popped....
