Popping my Junk Yard Cherry!!

I have been on the site now for a few weeks and I have gotten the mod bug! So i'm planning on heading to a few junk yards this weekend and this is all new for me. I'm just starting to do some mods for my 01 Yukon and was looking for any tips. I'm going to look for new power window motor and some door light covers, but hoping to just be inspired by some other things. Would love to find some 2nd row captain chairs or an Esky gauge cluster too, but I know that's wishful thinking. I'm also looking for any dash pieces that I wanna mess around with modding and can have a back up if I screw my stock pieces up. Anyway I got a few questions:

1. What year Tahoe/Yukon/Esky parts should I be looking for to fit my 01 Yukon? 00-03??

2. Are there any parts in particular I should be looking for that are problem areas for my year Kon, that I might be needing down the rode?

3. Are there any cheap parts in particular that any of you are looking for that I could my eye out for you guys?

I dunno any insight on this would be helpful as I am very new to this stuff. Thanks guys and just wanted to say this sight is awesome and has given my sooo many ideas and the confidence to try them thanks to the great write ups to tackle myself!

All 2000-2006 exterior parts will fit on a 2001 Yukon
Interior parts you would be looking for 2000-2003 as the 2004-2006 is the "new" interior

Things to look for IMO:
All escalade parts (Roof rack, full dash, dash cluster)

Just a heads up, the U-Pull It down in Ft. Lauderdale by I595 doesnt have much in the way for our trucks.

Captian's Chairs and Third Row seats. Headlights, tails, grill shells to mess around with and if you are lucky enough to find a 05 or 06 tahoe/yukon/escalade grab the e-fans out of it if at all possible.

After that any escalade parts ie: door handles (inside and outside), roof racks, running boards, gauges, dashboards, center consoles, steering wheels etc....

one thing u might wanna look out for yourself is the EBCM ( electronic brake control module) they are a major pain from what ive heard and mine is out lol... so just a for warning on that....

Love my Esky Roof Rails and rear vents but dont think you will find them at a junkyard. Hope you do though

If they have a 2003-2006 Esky cluster I would be very willing to pay for it if it is a good deal

BTW you need a cluster for a 00-02 Escalade...the 03-06 won't fit in the 00-02's
