I am planning on installing a Pioneer X920BT in my 2007 Tahoe with Bose and Onstar. Does anyone know if the illumination wire will work to automatically dim the radio when the headlights come on? Right now, I have a factory ,av unit installed and whenever my headlights come on the map automatically turns black. Is it possible to retain this feature on the Pioneer unit? I've heard that the orange wire on the Tahoe may not work. I'll be using a PAC OS-4 wiring harness to connect the radio to the Tahoe. Thanks for any help!

Also, on the PAC OS-4 there is a green/white wire for Onstar volume control. Does anyone know what wire I should hook this up to?

Wow fast response, thanks!

So it's just orange wire from the harness to orange wire on the radio? This never worked on my 2003 Tahoe, but maybe it's changed since then.
